Vegetable Battery

The energy for the battery comes from the chemical change in the zinc (or other metal) when it dissolves into the acid. The energy does not come from the lemon or potato. The zinc is oxidized inside the lemon, exchanging some of its electrons with the acid in order to reach a lower energy state, and the energy released provides the power.

In current practice, zinc is produced by electrowinning of zinc sulfate reduction of zinc with carbon, which requires an energy input. The energy produced in the lemon battery comes from reversing this reaction, recovering some of the energy input during the zinc production.

How much electricity can be generated from these showed vegetables?"

Two lemon can generate 1.8 - 1.10 Volt based on the model you create.. instead of solid copper plate if use copper wire as per my model we can get it.

in case of potatato 2 POTATOES CAN GIVE A VOLTAGE OF 1.6 VOLT TO 1.8

    THANKS FOR ASKING QUESTION

  3. Hi Shalom, hearty congratulations for this wonderful creativity. It really shows that a little scientist is budding to bloom in future. The way how you have explained is very clear and understandable. I have a question or you,
Does lemon and potato should be in good condition? If so, what would be its actual purpose...I mean the usage of this electricity in the real world.
Really it is so amazing to watch your video. Great work and you have long way to go kanna. Keep going. I wish you good luck for all your dreams may come true. Awaiting for your reply.
